Saturday, I went to The Met to see Savage Beauty, the Alexander McQueen exhibit. To anyone who hasn't gone, drop everything and get over there. It was so eerie, moody, romantic and spectacular. Every detail was on point - from the sounds played in each room to the decor around the designs. The exhibit includes pieces from Jack the Ripper Stalks His Victims, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and Highland Rape - my favorite, a dress that had two vulture skulls as shoulder plates.
