The Constellations have stolen my heart and I don't think I'm getting it back anytime soon. December is one of my favorite songs of the moment. I am giving serious consideration to joining the Clap Squad. Go listen to Southern Gothic already, sheesh.

Fresh veggies are quickly coming into season and I am very excited because sliced tomatoes with a bit of basil, salt and pepper is the perfect snack.

While in Florence, I found this bunch of locks by the river. If you look closely you can see there are names and sometimes dates written on them. They are called locks of love -- you are supposed to write your name and the name of your special someone and then lock your lock onto the group of locks and then throw your key into the river to seal it.
Wow. I want one.
Both of these would make very nice Valentine cards. I am a little jealous that I didn't come up with these.

While in Amsterdam, I visited Droog -- home to some of the most amazing, excited and unconventional design I've ever seen. And a Droog store is opening at the end of this month in NYC. This was one of my 400 favorite pieces. Talk about a conversation piece. I would talk to myself about this it's so good. http://www.droog.com/
